Today I shot some portraits of video production major David Jeffries for class for a last minute assignment. Since I didn’t have much time, I used my smaller “speed lights” instead of my usual setup of studio lights.
For my photo story project this quarter I have been covering the Marching 110 drum line during their practices and performances. Above is my final edit that I turned in for class.

Today for photo class we were given a simple assignment: Go out and take make an image, come back to the classroom to edit and tone, then have it on the server before class is over.
Due to the inclement weather, I gave myself the challenge of not leaving the building to get my image. I found it in the workshop on the first floor, where a painting major was building a canvas.
Within twenty minutes of leaving the classroom, I had my image.
